IoD Roadmap For Retirement Reform 2009
This paper was written by Malcolm Small for the Institute of Directors last year. At the launch of this paper at the IoD, Malcolm first announced the creation of a new body – the Centre for Retirement Reform (CRR) – which will carry forward the reform agenda outlined in the Roadmap paper, with the objective of ensuring better retirement outcomes in the UK. As Malcolm stated at the launch “The Centre will study policy options for reform in state and private pension systems, elder employment, long term care and other issues, viewing ‘retirement’ holistically”. This paper therefore has pivotal importance for the work of the CRR and we would strongly recommend that anyone interested in this crucial field of reform reads the document, available through the download below.
